Gunners ready for lift-off - Aubameyang
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang says he and his Arsenal team-mates are ready to put a difficult start to the season behind them.
The Gunners have won their last three Premier League matches - against Chelsea, Brighton and West Brom - as they prepare for Thursday's home game against Crystal Palace.
They?also got their FA Cup campaign going with a 2-0 extra-time success over Newcastle in the third round on their last outing.
Aubameyang netted the second goal against the Magpies and had begun the season with goals in the Community Shield against Liverpool and Fulham in Arsenal's Premier League opener.
But much of the campaign has been a struggle with his only other goals coming at Rapid Vienna in the Europa League in October, at Manchester United in November and at home to Soutthampton in December.
Aubameyang netted 22 Premier League goals in each of the last two seasons. He had 14 on the board by this time last year and had also registered 14 by this stage in the 2018/2019 campaign.
Aubameyang said: "From the beginning of this season I was struggling a lot but I think this is part of football.
"Sometimes you have ups and downs and you have to manage as best you can. I tried my best and until now it was not the best performance from me. I'm still positive. I think I can turn this around."
"If we win the couple of games that are coming we can turn around the situation. We are not so far from the top six so this is the moment to be back in the competition."
The Gunners are?10/3 to secure a top-six finish this season.
